What an amazing year Grind Out Hunger just had. This time last year we embarked on a plan to bring awareness and advocacy to the issue of children going hungry in Santa Cruz County in 2012. We felt if we could create a movement in one county with one goal of not letting kids go hungry we could replicate that across the nation. Santa Cruz awarded Grind Out Hunger it’s own day September 15th! Your support of Grind Out Hunger helped provide over 200,000 meals for Second Harvest Food Bank Santa Cruz County to distribute to kids and families.
