When we started Grind Out Hunger 8 years ago I could have never imagined that my action sports family would champion childhood hunger so feverishly. One by one as skaters, surfers, snowboarders and musicians became aware of the atrocity that kids were going hungry in our own town they didn’t hesitate to step up.
To end hunger we need the whole community, hungry people are not just going to go away. 20% of all homeless people are working everyday and then sleeping in train stations, bus stops and wherever they can.
